The short version. KGI Solutions LLC ("KGI", "we", "our") runs kgidealersolutions.com and provides dealer management software, websites, and marketing tools to independent car dealers. We collect the information we need to provide those services. We don't sell it. We protect it under the FTC Safeguards Rule and applicable state privacy laws.

What we collect

From visitors to this website:

• Pages you visit and how you got here (Google Analytics, server logs)
• Your IP address and browser/device info
• Anything you type into a form on this site (name, email, phone, dealership name, your question)

From dealer customers using our software:

• Your dealership business info (name, address, license, EIN)
• Your customer data that you enter into the DMS (names, addresses, deal info, credit applications)
• Authentication info for your account (username, hashed password, MFA)
• Usage data so we can improve the product

How we use it

• To run our website and our software
• To respond when you contact us
• To send service-related email about your account
• To send occasional updates and helpful articles, with the option to opt out at any time
• To meet our legal and compliance obligations under federal and state law

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information to third parties for marketing
• We don't share your customer data with anyone outside our service vendors who help us run the product
• We don't run third-party advertising networks against your DMS data

Cookies and tracking

This site uses standard cookies for authentication and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser. If you do, some parts of the site may not work normally. We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. Google Analytics IP-address data is anonymized.

How we protect data

We comply with the FTC Safeguards Rule. That means encryption of customer data at rest and in transit, multi-factor authentication on accounts that access customer info, regular security training for staff, and a written incident-response plan. We restrict employee access to customer data on a need-to-know basis.

Your rights

If you are a North Carolina or South Carolina resident, you can request a copy of the personal information we have about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Email privacy@kgisolutions.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Major changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
