Can't find a lender's ELT ID?
This list is the full NC DMV lender directory we keep current for our DMS customers. If a lender still isn't here:
- Call the lender directly and ask for their NC ELT ID number
- Contact the lender's dealer support line
- Check your dealer resource portal if you have one
Tips for used car dealers
- Always verify ELT numbers for new or unfamiliar lenders
- Keep a record of the ELT IDs you use most often
- Double-check the number before submitting DMV paperwork
- If a number is rejected at the tag office, the lender's records may be outdated. Call to confirm.
