Is this really free?
Yes. No account, no email capture, no expiration. KGI Dealer Solutions builds tools like this so dealers know who we are when they shop for a website or DMS. If we ever earn your business, great. If not, the calculator is yours to keep.
How accurate is the math?
It uses the standard present-value-of-an-annuity formula that lenders use to underwrite a payment. We round the budget down to the nearest $500 so the SRP filter returns a healthy list of vehicles, not just one car at the very top of their range.
What if my inventory URL is weird?
As long as the URL has the max-price as a number you can see, this works. Set a filter to 20,000, copy the URL, paste it in. The calculator finds 20000 in your URL and swaps it for the customer's budget. If you used a different number (like 25000), just change it in the “Number to replace” field.
Does it work on my website builder?
The embed code is a standard <iframe>. Every modern website builder (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, KGI Web, Carsforsale, Auto Dealer, you name it) supports iframes. Drop the code in any HTML/embed block.
Will this hurt my SEO?
No. The iframe loads from kgidealersolutions.com, so it's not your page being indexed — it's our page being shown inside yours. Your finance page keeps its own content and ranking. If anything, dwell time goes up because shoppers actually engage with the calculator.
Can I customize the colors or branding?
Right now you can set the dealer name and the hero vehicle image. Color theming is on the roadmap. If you want a fully white-labeled version, we build those as part of our dealer website packages — the calculator becomes a native page on your site instead of an iframe.
