Day 14 Car Dealer SEO Tip of the Day | Give Every Page One Clear Headline
More Automotive SEO All Daily Tips
Today's tip: give every page one clear topic, and make the URL, meta title, and H1 all say that same thing.
Most car dealer SEO problems start with pages fighting each other for the same keyword.
The pattern is simple - the service and the place. Your finance page is about financing. Your trade-in page is about trade-ins. The URL says it, the meta title says it, the H1 says it, and then the page actually delivers on it.
Where it goes wrong
The $99-a-month vendor site. Every page gets a near-identical title: "Used Cars Apex" on the homepage, "Used Cars Near Me Apex" on inventory, "Used Cars Apex NC" on the request page. That's keyword cannibalization. Google can't tell which page to rank for that search, so it splits your signal and often ranks none of them.
Don't overcorrect into stuffing
"Finance Used Cars Apex at Matt's Used Cars" is stuffing, not a fix. Just name the page: "Auto Financing in Apex, NC." Then write the page about that.
Pull up every page on your site this week and read the titles in a list. If two of them say the same thing, one of them needs to change. (Then build each page out so it sells - that was Day 1.)
