Day 28 SEO for Car Dealers | Sponsorships and Community Engagement
More Automotive SEO All Daily Tips
Today's tip: sponsor local organizations and get your logo and link on their site.
School just started, which means every PTA, booster club, and youth league in your town is looking for sponsors right now. It's one of the few SEO moves that pays you twice.
What it costs
Most sponsorships run $250 to $1,000. High school athletics, PTAs, youth leagues, band boosters. The big franchise stores are already all over these because they have the budget - but the local independent lot is the one that actually belongs there.
The part dealers miss
Almost all of these put your logo and a link to your website on their sponsor page. That's a real local backlink from a school or community organization, which is exactly the kind of link Google counts as a trust signal. Most of them post on social too. (Same family as the Chamber membership from Day 8.)
So you get the goodwill, your name in front of every parent in the district, and a backlink you can't buy any other way.
Look at where your kids go, where your employees' kids go, or just what's happening in your town this fall. Pick one and write the check this week.
